I received this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

This is such a beautifully illustrated and well told story of how first impressions are not necessarily true impressions and how the unexpected characters can develop a wonderful friendship.  The author uses seven naughty, playful cats who are full of silly antics that make a sailor’s life not so great, but when things go wrong, it’s the cats who show their true colors and end up being something no one saw coming!

I love the premise, the artwork is beautiful and done in watercolor format and the characters develop so well.  The plot moves forward quickly because you want to see what the cats are doing next lol.

This book is a lovely picture book that any child (and adult) will enjoy!
