MY THOUGHTS:
I received this book in exchange for my honest review. This is Book One of Hearts of Montana series.
This is a historical fiction with adventure and romance laced among its pages. The author has independently published fourteen novels prior to this one being picked up by Bethany House. Set in Montana, the author weaves a beautiful tale about realistic characters of amazing qualities. I felt included in their struggles and adventures and had my heart pounding for their challenges. A survival story at its best.
Dealing with the isolation while struggling through majestic mountains is brought boldly out with the use of imagery and style. The character’s determination in delivering the life-saving vaccines is one of the main driving forces of this story. This need builds tension and conflict and helps to drive the character toward reaching her goals.
You can’t go wrong with this book.
