I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
Filled with extraordinary young people and their passions, rising above challenging situations, engineering incredible solutions to existing problems regarding climate change, and so much more. Each left their mark on the world in impressive ways.
Many ethnicities are included, along with differing ages and situations. It goes to show that heroes come in all shapes, sizes and forms.
Very engaging and informative, with snippets of how to’s, and, plenty of incredible facts making you want more. I enjoyed searching for more information after reading bits about each amazing individuals. This book shows that kids can do remarkable things too. Illustrated effectively to help with the book’s engagement with the reader.
I loved all the additional extras that also offered great insights and how to’s for the reader.
This “Rise Up” series is proving to be exactly what I’d hoped it would be and can’t wait to get my hands on the next one.
