MY THOUGHTS:

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Okay why doesn’t adults have a book like this?

I think this book is so cool (do people say cool anymore?) and fascinating. As an adult, I wanted more information, but for a kid, this is guaranteed to peak interest in the topic material of places found underground.

To enhance young readers’ interests, there are secret panels with even more exciting facts behind the flaps so they can use visual learning as they turn pages.

Egypt, Montreal, the prairies, Poland and other locations are the focus in the book. You see and learn about hidden wonders below ground and how people made use of this space. Who knows… maybe one day as Earth’s population continues to grow, you will see young readers grow into explorers and developers of underground spaces. Maybe, just maybe… they’ll spark of interest in this coming from books like this one.
