Awww, everyone needs a hug goodnight. So sad that Porcupine can’t get one because he’s so prickly.  Good thing Armadillo came up with a solution! Feeling left out and solving a problem is the theme to this book.  Its cute caricatures of woodland animals have a situation to resolve so that no one is feeling left out, not Porcupine and not Owl.

Beautiful colors created using watercolors and ink, what a sweet book for new readers.  Lots of vivid pictures to follow along with minimal text, easy to read, appropriate language and beginner reader word choices.  Adorable characters, and a lovely story!
