I received this book in exchange for my honest review.
Okay! Now we’re talking! This book although in a picture book format is not really for first-time readers but more for chapter book readers. There’s a wealth of information for readers, so a perfect book for schools to introduce Charles Darwin’s theories.
Darwin’s Theory of Evolution is introduced in five points at the end of the book and throughout the book his reasons why he comes to the conclusions that he does. There’s a bunch of information on animal survival, pictures showing key aspects of his theories and many species of animal and insect discussed. He also goes into how man evolved.
Everything is explained and drawn in a format that is easy to understand. The accompanying illustrations are necessary to the success of the written prose. A great book for all libraries and school libraries and I highly recommend this book to ages 7 to 10. Its educational value is priceless.
